Liberation Through Language

New Dates for “Basecamp” Available!

Having a command over language has helped me define my mission and vision for the future in ways I couldn’t otherwise.

I’ve developed a poetry workshop designed with this in mind, taking elements from my own writing practises and combining them with ideas from the best self-development and group-based work I’ve experienced. “Basecamp” is a group workshop to help make sense of the challenges coming to us in our lives, and how we can re-activate the innate gifts we possess to overcome those challenges.

I’m Tom Shaw – a trailblazing poet, facilitator and sovereignty advocate from the UK. Having experienced first-hand the dehumanising nature of current Western societal constructs, I rekindle our connection to soul through my writings, my work as Chair of Over To The Youth, and hosting life-changing workshops and events.

Metropolis: The Novel – New Translation

I am currently working on re-translating the novel edition of the 1927 classic silent film, “Metropolis”.

“Metropolis” has many lessons to teach about the downfall of societies and the loss of humanity in the name of progress, which the book expands on even further. It considers themes of false idol worship, controlled opposition, faith versus science, class divides and much more to create a narrative still relevant today.
