I started life training as a dentist – then hit a wall when I realised the medical system did not provide the healing that it claimed to. But what I found most frustrating was that nobody else could see it – even when I told them how I saw it.

The resulting burnout, loneliness and depression I experienced from saying what I knew to be true – and not having it believed – was frustrating. People refused to see my evolution – and the things I had to offer that could help them in their own.

All else had failed – until I found poetry.

What I found was remarkable: Poetry is like a stem cell, capable of regenerating tissue in any damaged area of life. Reading poetry – then writing my own – taught me that the ‘how’ of what I said was far more important than the ‘what’. I saw how the judgements I held about myself – and other people – were shaping my language in a way that meant I could never reach the people that mattered to me.

When I mastered my own word, rewriting my own self-limiting beliefs, I connected deeply and meaningfully with people I’d written-off in my mind as “unreachable” – and resolved the tensions that kept me awake at night.

Synthesising the wisdom of creative expression, ancient and modern knowledge, and inner work, I developed a life-changing toolbox to improve your communication so that people actually listen to you. Today, I teach this to visionaries and change-makers who find themselves living fractured lives; those who have gifts to offer, but who don’t have their value seen. Together, we close the exhausting, painful chapters that still hold them back – and set them up to be seen as the full genius that they are.
