I’m pleased to announce the inaugural Rhyming Retreat for new, aspiring and established poets alike from across the world. Whether you’re just finding your voice or refining your next collection, this immersive retreat offers a carefully-crafted, 3-day experience, including guided workshops, group shares, and vibrant peer circles — all from the comfort of your own creative sanctuary.

Over the course of the retreat, you can expect:

• A dedicated “Setup Guide” delivered in advance, with details on how to make the most of your experience and any additional materials you may need to use.
• Intention-setting, meditations and grounding exercises to begin each day
• A series of guided workshops to generate new poetic ideas, including the Wheel of For(m)tune, nature immersion exercises and a special session of The Fire Within, all facilitated by other poets who are masters of their craft.
• Special writing sprints to finish up drafts of existing poems in a carefully-crafted experience
• Establish new connections with other attendees that will last a lifetime through a dedicated Group Chat, Online Rooms and Breakout Rooms.
• Dedicated downtime and exercises away from the screen to allow inspiration to arise.

• A reliable internet connection and the ability to join in for the full three days
• Some material you’ve been working on that isn’t quite coming together
• A familiarity with Telegram and Jitsi Meet.
• To treat this like an in-person retreat. You’ll need to join the Virtual Gathering Space at various times and engage in various practises in-between. Clear your schedules, tell your networks that your attention is on this retreat, and silence your social media.
• A willingness to get stuck in!
